Kids 3-7: Pavilion of Knowledge (Centro Ciência Viva, Parque das Nações) is Lisbon's best indoor attraction — 11 € adult / 8 € child 3-11 / free under 2
Kids 5-12: tram 28 works as a sightseeing ride if you board at Martim Moniz at 7:45am (3 € with Viva Viagem); kids love it, best view from the left window
Kids 8+: São Jorge Castle is FREE for under-12s, with free-roaming peacocks in the garden and ramparts kids can run on (controlled risk, wide ledges)
Teens 13-17: surf in Carcavelos with Carcavelos Surf School (45 €/2h lesson, board + wetsuit included), MAAT for architecture, curated Bairro Alto by day
