The ONLY vaccine that can legally block your entry into a country is yellow fever — 47 countries require the ICVP. Everything else is medical advice, not a border checkpoint.
The ICVP is free, issued by ANVISA (through the Meu SUS Digital app or gov.br), valid for your entire life, and a single dose is enough — the WHO rule since 2016. Avoid any site that charges a fee.
Get the shot at least 10 days before you fly. Before that the certificate isn't valid. Plan your travel-clinic visit 4 to 6 weeks ahead.
Leaving from Brazil changes the math: because Brazil is an endemic zone, many countries that "only require it from travelers coming from a risk area" end up requiring it from you — even when the destination itself has no yellow fever.
There's no traveler's malaria vaccine — it's a pill (prophylaxis). In Brazil the only option available is doxycycline: 1 day before, every day of the stay, and 4 weeks after you get back.
