Gràcia, Barcelona

Hotels in
Gràcia.

Barcelona's most authentic neighborhood — sun-drenched squares, vermouth bars, and village life in the middle of a capital.

Why stay in Gràcia.

The neighborhood in three honest paragraphs — no tourism brochure.

Gràcia was an independent town until 1897, when it was absorbed into Barcelona. It still feels like it never quite surrendered. Human-scale streets, tiny plazas, none of the cruise-ship noise of Las Ramblas. This is where Catalans actually live.

Plaça del Sol, Plaça de la Virreina, and Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia are the neighborhood's living rooms. Classic vermouth bars, neighborhood bakeries, independent shops. In August, the Festes Majors turn every alley into a hand-decorated community festival.

Staying in Gràcia means choosing the real Barcelona. You're 15 minutes by metro from the Gothic Quarter, walking distance from Sagrada Família and Park Güell, but your daily life runs at a local rhythm.
