Lisbon's riverfront reinvention — Time Out Market, Tagus waterfront, young nights.

Why stay in Cais do Sodré.

The neighborhood in three honest paragraphs — no tourism brochure.

Cais do Sodré was a sailors' quarter and red-light district until the early 2000s. Urban renewal turned it into Lisbon's most cosmopolitan food and nightlife hub. The Time Out Market — curated by the magazine — became the neighbourhood's symbolic anchor.

The Pink Street (Rua Nova do Carvalho) is now an Instagram landmark, with a rose-painted road and bars pressed shoulder to shoulder. At night it becomes an open-air party. By day, coffee and architecture.

Staying in Cais do Sodré means radical connectivity. Trains to Cascais, metro (green line), ferries to Cacilhas — all within one block.
