Shibuya.
The world's most famous crosswalk — young Tokyo, fashion, food, and neon around the clock.
Why stay in Shibuya.
The neighborhood in three honest paragraphs — no tourism brochure.
Shibuya is Tokyo's most iconic neighborhood — home to Shibuya Crossing (the world's busiest intersection, 3,000 people per green light), the Hachiko statue, and Shibuya 109, a shrine to Japanese youth fashion.
Young, commercial, relentlessly alive. Eight-story fashion buildings, restaurants tucked into vertical alleyways (yokocho), karaoke until sunrise. After dark, neon signage in three alphabets rewrites the skyline.
Staying in Shibuya means choosing the most practical version of Tokyo. Shibuya Station is a central hub on the Yamanote Loop — the circular line linking the entire city — with direct access to Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Roppongi.
