Travel vaccines in 2026: what you actually need and the yellow fever country list

Only yellow fever is a legal entry requirement — 47 countries ask for the ICVP, the International Certificate of Vaccination, which Brazil's ANVISA issues for free and which is valid for life after a single dose. The shot must be taken at least 10 days before you fly, and it's free at any public health post. Everything else (hepatitis A and B, MMR, typhoid, rabies) is a recommendation, not a requirement — and malaria is a pill, not a vaccine.
