Hotels in
Le Marais.
Paris at its most elegant — 17th-century mansions, world-class galleries, fashion boutiques, and historic cafés.
Why stay in Le Marais.
The neighborhood in three honest paragraphs — no tourism brochure.
Le Marais spans the 3rd and 4th arrondissements and is the best-preserved pre-Haussmann neighborhood in Paris. Hôtels particuliers from the 1600s, narrow medieval streets, synagogues, and intimate museums line every block.
The neighborhood has layers: a historic Jewish quarter (Rue des Rosiers still serves the city's best falafel), an LGBTQ+ hub since the 1980s, and now Paris's most cosmopolitan address — fashion, galleries, cocktail bars, and centuries of history in a single walk.
Staying in Le Marais is the classic first-trip choice. You're ten minutes from the Louvre on foot, five from Notre-Dame, fifteen from Centre Pompidou — the city's core is your backyard.
