Solo travel for Voyspark is among the most transformative experiences. We reject the idea that solo is only for twenty-something backpackers. Solo is a growing theme across all ages — the widowed older woman, the executive on sabbatical, the recently divorced rethinking life.

Solo done well has three ingredients: lodging with an active lobby (you'll want to talk to others), a walkable safe neighborhood (you'll go out alone), and a city with sidewalk-café culture (you'll read solo at a café without feeling odd).

We curate solo itineraries by profile. Female solo in less-secure destinations needs different prep. Mature male solo asks for other curation. Newly divorced solo asks for slower pace. We don't treat solo as one block.
